In 2012, I applied to be part of an international youth forum but I was rejected. In 2013, I applied again but rejected. The same in 2014 and 2015. So for four years in a row, I lost a major opportunity that was very dear to me. In the four years, I lost the opportunity but I did not loose my passion. In 2016, I applied again and this time selected.
Often times in life, we experience some hard stuffs that makes us want to give everything up. We go through things that threatens to take our joy away. We often want to give up everything including our passion and drive with an unpalatable situation but the truth is, no problem in life is worth your life, joy and happiness. The fact that a car is giving you problem doesn’t mean that you should sell your driver’s license with it. You will drive again when you can afford to buy a better one.
The same way we don’t cut our heads off when we have headaches , do not kill your drive when you fail. You will need the drive again to succeed. The same way we don’t throw our legs off with a bad shoe, you will need those legs to wear new shoes.
Keep your driver’s license, a new car is coming.
